Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish Festival (July 13-14)

"Reaching Milestones" is the theme of this year's Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Festival celebrating it's 95th year.

 Featured Entertainment:
Saturday, July 13 (4:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)
4:30 p.m. Colorado Springs all-male vocal group 'Los Cursillistas' (followed by Mariachi singer Alfredo Gonzalez)
7:00 p.m. 'La Primicia Nortena'

Sunday, July 14 (12:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.)
12:30 p.m. Aztec Dancers, Mariachi singer Dora Vensor, Native American community dancers,pop singer Danika Silerio and Mariachi singers Reymundo Loya and Alfredo Gonzalez
3:30 p.m. Omawari Mexican Folkloric Dance grou
6-10 pm The BTS Band

DJ Gonzalez will provide music throughout the event.

One thousand dollars in raffle cash will be awarded at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday together with other prizes.

A variety of ethnic foods - Mexican,American, Slovenian and Italian - refreshments, religious items, games, including bingo, will be offered at the festival.

The festival's annual street procession of the statue of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel will be held following the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday.

The procession with recitation of the Holy Rosary is one of the most noteworthy traditions of the festival.
