Those masses are the 4:30 p.m. mass on Saturday, Nov. 29, and the 11 a.m. mass on Sunday, Nov. 30

The Knights of Columbus #9456 is currently sponsoring a coat drive for children. There will be a box in the narthex through the end of November. If you have any coats your child/children have outgrown, consider passing on the blessing to keep another child warm.

This Advent, our Religious Education program at St. Joseph Catholic Church is hosting a Giving Tree to help support families in need within our community, and we need your help to spread the joy of Christmas. If you would like to help, please take a paper ornament from the tree in the back of the church.

We kindly request that you wrap the gift and attach the ornament to ensure it is delivered to the correct family. Please bring it to the office by Monday, December 15, to ensure we can get the gifts to the
family in time for Christmas.

Thank you so much for helping us provide a Joyful Christmas for these families.

The Men of Joseph have begun their monthly meetings again! Our next meeting is on December 2, at 6:00 p.m. in the Maria Lopez room.

With the upcoming holiday approaching, it’s that time of year to remember those less fortunate. By giving them the assistance they need, each family can have a joyous holiday season!

Since we will be giving out gift cards this year instead of food baskets, we will only be accepting cash and check donations instead of food. Please address your checks or sealed cash envelopes to the St. Vincent De Paul Committee and place them in the collection basket. They can also be dropped off at the Church office during business hours.

The St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women (CCW) brings together ALL Catholic women to enhance spiritual growth and develop leadership. We promote the Christian community through fellowship, education, empowering, nurturing, and supporting our members.

Our meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month with the fellowship beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the business meeting at 6:00 p.m.

• The goal is to generate $90,000 in pledges to meet the AMD assessment.
• Current AMD assessmeent is $7522 a month or $90,264 for the year.
• The pledge is in addition to the weekly collection but can be paid weekly, monthly, or one lump payment.
• Please make checks out to St. Joseph Church and write AMD on the memo line of check.
• The parish has not generated the necessary income to cover this expense.
• WE MUST DO IT AGAIN TO FOR THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF THE CHURCH.
• The churches major fundraisers (Parish Festival and Spaghetti Dinner) are now assisting us in paying this obligation and are no longer available for other activities or needs of the church.

The Chalice for Vocations ministry was developed to promote fervent and devotional prayer for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. These specific intentions are raised as the chalice travels within the parish community.

A prayer guide is provided and geared for readers that are young or old.  Spontaneous and personal prayers for vocations are always acceptable and welcome also. Please incorporate prayers for an increase in vocations within your prayer life.
